7.4 MW of Community Solar - China, Maine

Borrego designed and built a 7.4 MW ground mounted solar project in China, Maine. This project, one of several Borrego is building for SunRaise Investments, is expected to generate 9,092,000 kWh of energy annually that will be used for local community solar programs. The system is expected to offset more than 6,000 metric tons of carbon emissions annually and generate enough electricity to power approximately 850 homes each year. The project is being built on property the landowner is actively mining, creating additional lease revenue on land with mixed use.
