Utility Scale Solar in Milo, Maine
Borrego designed and built a 27 MW ground mounted utility solar project in Milo, Maine. This project, one of several Borrego is building for BNRG Renewables, is also one of the largest solar systems in Maine.
The solar power plant is expected to generate 36,030,180 kWh of energy annually, enough to power 3,383 average homes for a year. It’s also expected to offset 25,475 metric tons of greenhouse gasses annually, which is equivalent to the amount of carbon sequestered by planting 421,000 tree seedlings.
