Belfast, Maine — Community Solar

Borrego EPC designed and built a 7.1 MW ground mounted solar project in Belfast, Maine. This project, one of several Borrego is building for SunRaise Investments, is expected to generate 8,869,000 kWh of energy annually that will be used for local community solar programs. The system is expected to offset more than 6,200 metric tons of carbon emissions annually and generate enough electricity to power approximately 830 homes each year.
